The location of the hotel was perfect for skiing as the main ski lift was right in front of the hotel. The hotel also offered a pickup service from the train station which was very convenient. The prices were fixed year-round and the breakfast was included in the rates, making it a very reasonable choice. The free onsen on site was a great way to relax and recover from a day of skiing. The staff was helpful and always ready to assist with any requests.
The hotel only had one international ATM and it would have been more family-friendly if there were more options for gender-segregated onsens. However, this is a common practice in Japan and should be expected.

The hotel is excellently situated for skiing enthusiasts, with the main ski lift right in front of the facility. the helpful staff made arrangements to pick us up from the nearby train station, which was just a 10, minute drive from the hotel. we were pleasantly surprised by the fixed rates for the rooms which were determined based on the number of occupants. the room we stayed in offered great value for money, and breakfast was included in the package, which was quite impressive.
The lack of a family, friendly onsen was a bit of a letdown for us, since we had to bathe in a gender, segregated facility. It would have been great to see more options, especially for those who are not comfortable with communal bathing.
